This is a NON-POLITICAL page and is in no way affiliated with any other Association. The page is mine and the blokes who have helped create it. As the saying goes, The buck stops here, if there is any corrections or arse kicks, aim them at me and no-one else.

This page was put together by Ern Marshall because of the lack of information about the Australian Involvement in Vietnam and for the benefit of all Veterans, and maybe for the education of some of the younger generation. Don't forget to sign the guest book. You can find this guest book at the bottom of this page. I have also added an Email Phone Book, right beside the guest book. So all Aussie & NZ vets can sign on and maybe find some old mates. I've included a search engine so you can look up mates even if you don't have all the info.

SOLDIER

I was that which others did not want to be.
I went where others feared to go, and did what others failed to do.
I asked nothing from those who gave nothing, and reluctantly accepted the thought of eternal loneliness... should I fail.
I have seen the face of terror; felt the stinging cold of fear; and enjoyed the sweet taste of a moment's love.
I have cried, pained, and hoped... but most of all, I have lived times others would say were best forgotten.
At least someday I will be able to say that I was proud of what I was... a soldier.

As much as I hate sending you to another page before you find what you're looking for, I'm going to have to do it. The front page has just become to large and took to long to load. So I have broken it up into sections. If you think that I have put something under the wrong section , please let me know. I'm trying to make it as easy as I can for you to find the information that you are looking for.

    Images of ME

Vietnam, Unit 2AOD at 1ALSG 1968 till 1969. I read everything I can about the subject. I'm also a Pension Officer here in Sunraysia and a foundation Member of the Support Network ,also the past President of the Respite feasibility committee. In 1997 I was elected to the RSL (Mildura) Committee. I am also the Vice Chairman of the Sunraysia Regional Veterans Centre

Music, It's just gotta be Country & Western. My main man is Jerry Jeff Walker followed very closely by Waylon Jennings and of course The Highwaymen......... Kevin Johnston........ One of the most under-rated singers in Aussie, along with Eric Bogle...... who isn't really C&W but is brilliant just the same
Yabby's (Crawfish) to you blokes outside Aussie. I have a small yabby farm that is not making me any money, matter of fact it costs me money, but it's a lot of fun learning about these fabulous little creatures
