Sarah and Thomas Byrne arrived in Australia on the vessel Phoenix in January 1856 with their children (of which I can only find a record of 7 arriving with them). His wife either gave birth to five or six more here or else I'll have to a bit more searching. They shifted to a small place outside of Wangaratta, Vic. called Byrne, just near Moyhu, and some of the boys became part of the Moyhu Stockman. I have some very old newspaper clippings of the events of the day which I would gladly share with other Byrne rellies.
NB: Superscript behind each descendant name represents the lineage number of that descendant.
