Macquarie Bank and its subsidiaries operate in a range of investment banking, commercial banking and retail financial services markets in Australia and internationally including Tokyo, China and Korea. In May 1999, Macquarie Bank formed an alliance with Industrial Bank of Japan Limited Group to trade Japanese equity derivative products. In July 2000, Macquarie established an office in Tokyo and Treasury Services and Project and Structured Finance both have a presence.
The Australian Consumer Association is a not-for-profit organisation that monitors and responds to consumer issues. The ACA is representative on many national and state-based bodies related to consumer issues.
