After World War 2, the celebrated Australian photographer Frank Hurley
travelled Australia capturing the country on film, State by State. This
photograph appeared in Queensland: A Camera Study, published by Angus
& Robertson in 1950. It shows a prosperous migrant farmer and his
helpers gathering the strawberry crop for the nearby Brisbane market.
