Henry
Handel Richardson (1870-1946), best known as a novelist, also composed
music written exclusively for her own enjoyment and seldom performed.
This month the National Library hosts the first of three concerts in
the Federation Concert Series. The first of these concerts, entitled
Hidden Talents: The Words and Music of Henry Handel Richardson and
Frederick Septimus Kelly, will explore the words and music of these two
great Australians.
