Description:
Turned trachyte stone column with sculptured lamp and flame, the whole resting upon a stone combination base.

World War 1 names are of gilt lettering upon trachyte panels. Names associated with World War 2, and subsequent wars, are gilt on granite sections attached to the memorial's stone base.

Inscription:

This memorial was erected in memory of the men of this district who fought for the cause of freedom in the Great War. 1914 - 1919
