Joyce Parszos

Joyce  Parszos was born in Italy and educated in Australia and is married with three daughters.  She is a professional consultant directing specialist communications, marketing and sponsorship development services.

Joyce was the first Public Relations and Development Manager of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) at Circular Quay in Sydney, and as part of a small team played a key role in the seminal phase of the development of this major Australian art institution.

Joyce Parszos has served and continues to serve as a Director on a number of Boards. These include the Australian Paralympic Committee (2001 – 2006) and Viscopy (Visual Arts Copyright Collecting Agency (2004 -).  Joyce joined the Board of MOST (Music & Opera Singers Trust Ltd) in January 2008. In 2001 Joyce was awarded the Australian Sports Medal,  recognising her contribution to the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games.

Joyce considers her ongoing role as a mentor to young professionals as one of the most rewarding roles of her career.
