Veronica Black is a student activist who stood as an ALP candidate in the unwinnable seat of Ballina in 1995. |
Career Highlights |

At the time of her candidature, Veronica Black was studying for a Bachelor of Business (Tourism) at Southern Cross University. She was extensively involved in various community organizations including Community Aid Abroad and the Australian Republican Movement. In 1995 she was the National Union of Students Liaison Officer at Southern Cross University and the immediate past President of the SRC. Veronica Black was also very involved in the ALP, being President of the University Labor Club and Senior Vice President of the Northern Rivers Young Labor Organisation. |
