Wind in the Willows

2008 marks the centenary of the publication of Wind in the Willows. The Wind in the Willows remains one of the world’s best-loved children’s classics. Estimated worldwide sales exceed 25 million copies across 70 countries.

There is an interesting, rather sad article on Kenneth Grahame here.

Books Illustrated will be celebrating the centenary of this masterpiece by putting together an exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, LAPADA fair which will be held in May, 2008. Click here for a preview of some the beautiful illustrations.
