An introductory page is provided for each of the titles in the PANDORA Archive. This title entry page includes the following information:

Title - this appears in the blue banner below the PANDORA logo

Archiving statement - this tells you whether the item has been archived once only, is being archived regularly, has ceased being archived, or is no longer available at the publisher's site

Link to publisher's site - while this is still available

Link to the archived version - this may be to the home page for web sites, to the title page for single documents such as reports or ebooks, or to the individual issues of an electronic journal. The date that the item was archived is also listed

Publisher's copyright statement - if the item includes a copyright statement, then a separate link to this is provided.

Citation URL - the persistent identifier for the item is shown in the green banner at the bottom of the page. This URL should be used for any citations/links to the title as it will be permanently maintained

Create persistent identifier for URL - if you wish to cite a specific page within the archived site you can copy the URL from the address bar into this box and click 'Go' to generate the persistent URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) for that page. A persistent URI for a page within an archived website is based logically on the 'Citation URL' and will take the form:
http://nla.gov.au/nla.arc-[unique number]-[date stamp]-[time stamp]-[original URL].
For example:
http://nla.gov.au/nla.arc-131760-20120120-0944-www.nla.gov.au/pub/nlanews/2006/feb06/index.html

Footer - in the blue banner at the bottom of the page there are links to general copyright information, an explanation of the icon buttons used on some pages, and a link to the catalogues of the PANDORA partner agencies
